What's Included

TechSmith Certifications in Camtasia and Snagit are premium learning experiences that develop your skills with screencasting and visual communication. Each certification program is maintained to reflect the functionality and content of the most current version of Camtasia or Snagit unless otherwise stated.

In both courses, you’ll check your knowledge along the way and earn a TechSmith issued certificate that can be added to your LinkedIn profile, or printed to brag about the expertise you've earned.

Accessing the Certification Courses

The Camtasia and Snagit Certification programs are exclusively available to those who have a TechSmith Maintenance Agreement for the software they have purchased. If you do not currently have a license for Camtasia or Snagit with an active maintenance agreement, please contact our sales team.

If you have purchased a Camtasia Maintenance Agreement or the Snagit Maintenance Agreement, your certification course will be available below.

 Camtasia Certification

• Learn the process of creating screencasts with Camtasia
• Walkthrough a project and learn tips and tricks for efficient and effective video creation
• Includes downloadable project files to provide practice opportunities
• Two certification paths are available, Explorer and Voyager

 Snagit Certification

• 20+ videos of Snagit how-tos and example workflows
• Learn how visual communication helps you “show what you know”
• Walkthrough the basics of screen capture and image editing with Snagit
• Customize Snagit, speed-up workflows, and maintain consistency across departments and teams
• Task-specific tracks help you learn the particular workflows you need to get your work done faster
